Tamarrow T. Ward entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 59. She was a native of Houston, TX and a resident Kenner, LA. Tamarrow was a graduate of Rabouin High School and Delgado Community College, where she obtained an Associate Degree in Accounting. She later earned a Bachelor of Christian Education from Christian Bible College. Tamarrow served her country as a member of the United States Army Reserve. During her military years she received several commendations, that included the Army Achievement Medal and Good Conduct Medal. She was member of House of Healing Outreach Church, where she was a licensed minister and coordinator of the Believers Class and Baptismal Class. Beloved wife of Harrison Ward, Jr. Loving mother of Victoria DeGruy and Harrison Ward III. Devoted grandmother of Michelle DeGruy. Daughter of the late Thomas Timmons and Rosie Lee Porter. Granddaughter of the late Johnny and Nettie Thomas. Sister of Horace Benford, Tommy Timmons, Timothy Timmons, Sr., James Timmons, and Tracy Timmons. Sister in love Valery Green. Godmother of Keimon Cuneo and Keisha Pierre; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of House of Healing Outreach Church, First Pilgrims Missionary Baptist Church, New Covenant Church of Houston, TX, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at First Pilgrims Missionary Baptist Church, 1228 Arts St. New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
