Darren S. Tatum entered into eternal rest at University Medical Center on Sunday July 31, 2022, at the age of 28. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, a former resident of Liberty, MS, a presently residing in Marrero, LA. Darren was employed with ACBL as a deckhand. Beloved husband of Celeste Tatum. Son of Ryan and Shanon Brady. Grandson of Eli C. Tatum and the late Carrie D. Tatum.Brother of Rynece Brady. Uncle of Shai Brady. Nephew of the late Debbie Tatum. Cousin of Porche Tatum, whom he loved as a sister, and her children Aqurronte Tatum and Kennedy Cockerham as his nieces. Big brother and coworker Marcus Cockerham. Cousin of the late Justin Barnes and Deleather Ratcliff. Best friend of the late Kevin; also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church, Household of Faith Church and all neighboring churches; employees of ACBL, and Triton Fumigation are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Zion Baptist Church, 441 Wilson Rd. Marrero, LA on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
