YVONNE SYLVIA VINCENT

Yvonne Sylvia Vincent transitioned peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the age of 64. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Yvonne was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and Delgado Community College. She was employed with the Office of Motor Vehicles as a Vehicle Compliance Analyst III. Loving daughter of the late James Vincent, Sr. and Sarah Vincent. Devoted sister of Dr. Bobby (Margaret) Vincent, Sr., Rosemary (Claude) Scieneaux, and the late Jonathan Vincent, Shirley V. Williams, Sarah V. Green, Mack A. Vincent, Sr., Joetta V. Carter, and James Vincent, Jr. Sister-in-law of Beatrice Vincent and the late Jacquelyn B. Vincent, and Johnnie Williams, Sr. Yvonne is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of the Office of Motor Vehicles are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1219 Cohen Street, Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Albert Mickel, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
