YVONNE STACK BEMISS

Yvonne Stack Bemiss entered into eternal rest at her home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the age of 67. She was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Yvonne was a member of Joy in Harvest Baptist Church, and formerly employed as a cook at the Red Maple Restaurant. Loving mother of Kedrick Stack, and Damon Stack. Beloved daughter of the late Wilson Stack, Sr. and Leona Stack. Sister of Leonard Stack, Arthur Stack, Brenda Stack, and the late Tim Brown, Louise Brown, Annie Marie Cloy, and Wilson Stack, Jr., and Evelina Taplie. Yvonne is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Joy in Harvest Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expwy. Marrero, LA on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum-Avondale.
