Xevion “Big Red” Davis departed this life on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the age of 23. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Conroe, TX. Mr. Davis was a self-employed construction worker and was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System. Devoted father of Khoi Xyea Davis and the late Xy’Ahir Davis. Beloved son of Chermaine Davis Payne and the late Dwight Dearmas. Stepson of Lamand Payne. Grandson of the late Johnnie and Doris Davis, Walter and Maragret DeArmas. Brother of Brian, Brison, Trentvontae, Jo’Barre, Lamond, Vincent, Dwight, Ernest, Jaradi, Kenjihad, Jherinique, Jo’Niayya, Lo’Monjanae, Tia Blair, Dejanae, Latorya, Jasmine, Destiny and ShaVonna. Nephew of the late Leray Davis and Walter (Shock) DeArmas. Beloved Friend of Mya Lawson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Morning Star Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the celebration of Life at Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L.B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
