Winifred Edward Cole, passed away peacefully at Ochsner Hospital on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the age of 65, surrounded by his family. He was a native and resident of Plaquemine, Louisiana.  Winifred is a veteran of the Vietnam War and served honorably in the United States Armed Forces. He was a truck driver for 13 years at American Beauty Inc., and a security guard for 10 years with New Orleans Private Patrol. He was a family man and enjoyed gatherings surrounded with lots of laughter and music.  Loving father of Wendy Muse, Winifred Muse, Broderick Cole, Wintrice (Jaron) Dyson, Trichena Cole, and Malcolm Cole. Grandfather of Jermain Worthy, Messiah August, Jaylah Cole, Jaron Jr., Cherish, Promise, Charisma Dyson, Markell Tillman, and Naveah Cole. Son of the late David, Jr. and Lilly Cole.  Brother of Joseph Cole,  Marjorie (Charley Sr.) Caldwell, Antoinette Green, and the late David Cole Jr., Gregory Cole Sr., Gary Cole, and  Brenda Jordan. Uncle of the late David Cole, III. Nephew of Rose Mary Clark,  Regina Jones,  Edward Luke, and the late  Joseph Johnson. Great nephew of  Mildred Clark.  Close friend of Bridgette Henderson, Linda Easly, and Kevin Gray. Brother-in-law of the late Michael Green Sr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Public Viewing at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St., Gretna, LA on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. ONLY.
