WILLIE SINGLETON

Willie Singleton entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 64. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Willie attended of St. John of Arc Catholic School and Jefferson Parish School System.  He was a self-employed mechanic. Beloved husband of Julie Haynes Singleton. Devoted father of Nicole Alexis. Son of the late Joseph and Gertrude W. Singleton. Grandson of the late Charlie and Nishe Williams, Johnny and Annie Singleton. Brother of Walter Joe Louis (Tiara) Roberts, Sr., Viola (John) Dillon, and Gloria Singleton. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rising Star Baptist Church, Body of Christ Fellowship Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rising Star Baptist Church, 1350 South Laurel St. Metairie, LA on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 10:00a.m.  Rev. David Jenkins Host Pastor / Rev. John E. Dillon, Jr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service at the church.  Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
