WILLIE DERIC HOLMES

Willie Deric Holmes entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 5, 2021, at the age of 52. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Willie was employed as a construction worker. Devoted father of Deric Livas, Donald Franklin, Damitriell Thomas, and Akeirah Holmes. Beloved son of Clarence Holmes, Jr., and Earnestine Reed. Stepson of Larry G. Reed. Grandson of the late Willie and Earnestine Carter, Clarence Holmes, Sr., and Zelma Davis. Brother of Clarence Holmes, III, Maurice Holmes, Calvin Holmes, Giselle (Rogers) Riley, and Chamika A. Holmes. Companion of Nicole Jackson. Deric is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: Nazarene Cemetery New Orleans, LA.
