WILLIE BIRDEN, JR

Willie Birden, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the age of 57. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of New Britain, CT.  Willie was a graduate of L.W. Higgins High School. Willie Bone, as he was affectionately known by family and friends was employed as an Insulation Worker. Loving father of Bianca Bridgewater. Beloved son of the late Willie, Sr. and Maxine Birden. Grandson of the late Hannon, Sr. and Doris James, David, Sr. and Lou Ethel Birden. Brother of Bryant (Tracy) Birden, Carmen Birden, Michele Firven, Angela Harris, Kedra Birden, and Kendra (Bruce) Shelvin, Sr. Godfather of Carlos Hall and Dabnis Bell, also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Living Word Ministries and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Davis Mortuary Services 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. at the above-named parlor.
