Wilhemina Jackson Wilkerson entered peacefully into eternal rest at East Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 74. She was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Marrero, LA. Wilhemina attended Juliens Beauty School for Cosmetology Training. She retired from Schwegmann Brothers Grocery Chain after 20 years of service as a meat packer. Beloved wife of Dave D. Wilkerson, Sr. Loving mother of Donell Wilkerson and the late Diandrea Green. Stepmother of Dave (Amanda) Wilkerson and Davella Wilkerson (Troy) Elzy. Daughter of the late Sherman and Queen Jackson. Sister of Andrew Jackson, Raymond Maynor, John Harris, Paulette Cornin, Vonzella Wilkerson, Gaynell Franklin, and the late Carrie Mae Jackson, Sherman Jackson, Jr., and Mable Peterson. Godmother of Ronzell Wilkerson; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
