WENDY MICHELLE BRATHWAITE

 Wendy Smith Brathwaite entered eternal rest on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 63. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Wendy was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School Class of 1978. She was a former employee with Bayside, Woldenburg, and Wynhoven Nursing Facilities as a nurse. Beloved wife of the late Rogelio Brathwaite, Sr.  Devoted mother of Rogelio Brathwaithe, Jr.  Daughter of the late Dave and Maude Smith. Sister of Diedra, David, and the late Veronica (Willie) Thornton, Debra (Malcolm) Willis. Aunt of the late Simone Smith and Marica (Jerry) Jackson. Devoted friend of Melvin Showers. Best friend of Yvonne Vincent, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway, LA on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. at the above named parlor.
