Wayne Alexander Griffin departed this life on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the age of 63. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Wayne was employed as a groundskeeper and landscaper with Good Works, Inc. Beloved companion of 18 years to Claudia Smith. Loving father of Astra Venus Peterson. Stepfather of Deber Tennessee, David Smith and Jessie Smith Son of Mr. Joseph and the late Shirley Griffin. Devoted brother of Michael Griffin, Charles Varnado, and Michelle.
