Walter James Boykins

Walter James Boykins entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the age of 80. He was a native of Amite, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Walter was a retired Truck Driver with Goliath Construction.

Beloved husband o f Rosalie Terry Boykins. Devoted father of Patrick Boykins, Edward Johnson, Kennedy Johnson, June Williams, and Shelia Johnson. Son of the late Earnest, Sr. and Mary McKay Boykins. Brother of Florence Boykins, and the late Earnest Boykins, Jr., Jerry Boykins, Lonnie Boykins, Ellis Boykins, and Francis Boykins, also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of family also pastors, officers, and members of Asbury United Methodist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Memorial Services at Asbury United Methodist Church 2725 Ernest St. New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00a.m.
