VERA FRANKLIN ADAMS

Vera Lee Adams entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the age of 92. She was a native of Lettsworth, LA and a resident of Dallas, TX. Vera was a retired employee of Henderson Restaurant. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Adams. Loving mother of Louis Banks, Jr. Daughter of the late Seamon Franklin and Mary Ida Platt Franklin. Grandmother of the late Shondra’ Banks. Great grandmother of the late Crystal Banks. Sister of the late Charles Franklin, Bessie Woods, Bertha Lee Franklin Reed, Katherine Gilbert, and Myrtle Franklin Hamilton. Mother-in-law of the late Renee Banks. Devoted friend and caregiver Huey Rainey, also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.  Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
