VALERIE ANN JACKSON

Valerie Ann Jackson entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the age of 62. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Valerie was a graduate of John Ehret High School and Stevenson Academy of Hair Design. She was employed as a Retail Manger at DD’S Discounts in Marrero, LA. Valerie was formerly employed as a Manager at Sally’s Beauty Supply and as a Residential Training Specialist at Metropolitan Developmental Center. Devoted mother of Essence Jackson (Christopher) Chapman and the late Baby Edward Scott. Loving grandmother of Ma’loni K. Johnson, Richard K. Johnson, Jr., and Kaileigh C. Norman. Beloved daughter of Albertine Jackson and the late Harold Jackson, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Climmons and Beulah Jackson, Pat and Gladys Hawkins. Sister of Jerome Jackson, Johnell Jackson, Kaytrell Jackson, Constance Jackson, Eleanor Jackson, and the late Harold Jackson, Jr, Valerie is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
