ULYESSES EASTERLING

Ulyesses Easterling, age 88, entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, January 20, 2023. He was a native of Hazelhurst, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Ulysses was a self-employed landscaper and gardener. He formerly worked for Winn Dixie Warehouse.   Beloved husband of the late Mae Emma Daniels Easterling. Devoted father of Dennis (Lori) Easterling, Cheryl (Eric) Poole, Renda Easterling, Angie Easterling, and Zina Easterling. Son of the late Walter and Mary Easterling. Loving brother of Otis Easterling, Sr., John Easterling, Walter (Anita) Easterling, Jr., Sam Easterling, Luebertha (James) Wilbert, Virgie (Warren) Blackmon, Lorean (James) Young, Annette (Albert) Frazier, and the late Robertha Wilbert. He was preceded in death by 7 sisters-in-law and 5 brothers-in-law. Also cherishing his memories are  9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fifth African Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing celebration at Fifth African Baptist Church, 3419 S.
