Tyronne McKay, Sr. entered into eternal rest surrounded by family at Ochsner Medical Center on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the age of 66. He was a native of Ponchatoula, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Tyronne was a retired truck driver. He will be remembered as an avid New Orleans Saints fan, and for his passion of playing the bass guitar and fishing. Beloved husband of the late Ethel Mae McKay. Proud father of Michelle (Christian) Fulwood, Tyronne (Felisia) McKay, Jr., Surruntha McKay, and Demetruim McKay, Sr. Grandfather of Yasmin Kiper, Taylor Fulwood, Christian Fulwwod, Tyrin Ferguson, Marcel Converse, Jairus McKay, Junior Hicks, Jr., Autumn Hicks, Demetrium McKay, Jr., and Nylah McKay. Son of the late Nettie McKay. Brother of Albert McKay, Sr., JE (Gerald) McKay, Raymond McKay, Roslind McKay Batiste, Ronald McKay, Wendell McKay, and the late Eugene Hall and Gail McKay Dangelos. Son-in-law of the late Lawrence and Ethel Mae Brue. Brother-in-law of Lawrence Brue, Delaney Brue, Gelandra Battle, Edna Felder, Therone Brue, Kenneth Brue, Germaine Collins, and the late Jesse and Frank Brue. Tyronne is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
