TYRONE DEGREE

Tyrone Degree, Jr. entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the age of 60. He was a native of Harvey, La and a resident of Marrero, LA. Tyrone was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he owned and operated a lawn care service. He was a former machine operator with Barrier Construction. Tyrone was a faithful member of Full Life Faith Ministries. Beloved husband of Diane Degree. Devoted father of Tyyone, Terralyn, Terrell, Talitha, and Dominique. Loving grandfather of King’ston Price, and Ki’miria Hayes. Son of Tyrone Degree, Sr. and Joyce Ann Degree; he was reared by the late Mater Ellison and Willie Ellison. Brother of Allen (Fonteechio) Degree, Dawayne (Gytonnea) Degree, Jo Ann (Walter) Moore, and the late Antoinette Degree Anderson. Special nephew of the late Milton Carter. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Tyrone is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Full Life Faith Ministries and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Full Life Faith Ministries, 6951 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Tracy Casby, Sr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA
