Trishana Martin Barnes

Trishana Michelle Martin Barnes departed this life on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 28. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Wife of Nigel Barnes, Sr. Loving mother of Niaya and Nigel Barnes. Beloved daughter of Elma Martin and Ronald Young. Sister of Julia and Selena Martin, Ronald and Darius Fairman, and the late A’Tynisha “Tia” Adolphus. Granddaughter of the late Angelina and Melvin Phillips, and James Young. Niece of the late John Phillips. Tishana is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Sons and Daughters of Zion Church and all neighboring churches; employees of KFC, Shell Gas, Jazz Fest, Truck Stop, Ochsner Medical Centers, St. Charles Surgical Hospital, and Jefferson Parish School Board are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Patricia Frye, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
