TRINIA ISHMAN BAX

Trinia Ishman Bax, age 67, entered peacefully into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Sunday, April 14, 2024. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.  She was a graduate of John McDonogh High School and Delgado Community College. Trinia was employed with the Air Force and the USDA before retiring after 34 years as an administrator. Devoted mother of Preston M. (Shawn) Bax, Jr. Loving grandmother of Preston M. Bax, III and Jonathan D. Bax. Daughter of the late Robert Ishman, Sr. and Audrey Hickman Ishman. Beloved sister of Robert Ishman, Jr., Benjamin Ishman, Giselle Ishman, and Ethel Johnson; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Father Sidney Speaks, celebrant. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
