TRAVELLE JOSEPH BROOKS

Travelle Joseph Brooks entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the age of 38. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Travelle attended St Ville Elementary, Miller Wall Elementary, and Marrero Middle School where he played football, and he attended John Ehret High School. “Lil Joe or Duke”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, worked several jobs including sanitation, barge cleaning and shipyard work. Beloved son of Anita Brooks and the late Joseph Williams, Sr. Grandson of Floretta McCrary and Leslie McCray. Brother of Travis Brooks, Eric (Jessica) Davis, Shawn (Keonte) Davis, Dedredra Washington, Stacie Scott, Antoinette Washington, and Lorraine Brooks. Uncle of Jazz, TJ, and Brandy, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Samuel Travis Officiating.
