TOM BROWN JR.

Tom Brown, Jr., age 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Tom was educated in the Orleans Parish Public School System. He worked as a deckhand offshore and construction worker. Loving father of Julie Brown-Bessie (McDonald), Roslyn Cincore, David Brown, Sr., and Corey Brown, Sr. Great grandfather of the late Marcus A. Brown, Jr.  Son of the late Tom, Sr. and Viola Brown.  Beloved brother of Doris Dummars, Eunice Singleton, Odessa Brown, Otis Brown, Johnathan Brown, and Pastor Dolhman Brown, Sr. Uncle of the late Terry and Jesse Dummars. Tom is also survived by his special friend Cynthia, 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
