TIMMY JENKINS

Timmy Jenkins entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the age of 59. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Timmy worked as a laborer for many years, but he was best known for singing and dancing. Son of Dorothy Watson Jenkins and the late Earl Jenkins.  Brother of  Reverend Reginald (Patricia) Watson, Earl (Susie) Jenkins, Roxanne Jenkins, John Jenkins and Sonya (Cornell Sr.) Haynes.  Nephew of Maggie Haney, Jeanette Jonson (Sacramento, Ca), Barbara Watson and Elizabeth Watson.  Godfather of Reverend Regina Watson, also survived by a host of other  nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Destiny Missionary Baptist Church, St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, Ebenezer Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Tulane Medical Center 5th floor, Forest Park Apartments, Bridge City Center for Youth, and VA Medical Center are invited to attend funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Reginald Watson officiating.
