THORNTON BROWN, JR.

Thornton Brown, Jr. departed this life on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the age of 65. He was a native of Sunflower, MS and a resident of Phoenix, AZ. Thornton served his country in the United States Air Force and worked in Military Security. Devoted father of Tanja Brook-Brown,  Feandrell Brown- Brown, and Wesley Brown. Son of the late Thornton Rodney and Mattie Brewer  Brown. Brother of Larry Williams, Don, Sir Finis, Dennis, Keith, Kevin, Ryan, and Darrin Brewer, Mildred Brown Glapion, Cyntrella, Lyntrella,  Vyntrella Brewer, and the late Matthew Barrett Brown, and Marvin Brewer, also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the graveside service at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery 34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA  on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 1:30p.m. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
