Thomas Eddie Boyd entered into eternal rest at his residence on Monday, June 28, 2021, at the age of 42. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Thomas was a graduate of O. Perry High School and was employed as a licensed plumber with Local 60 and Trade Source of N.O.  Beloved father of Solomon Boyd, II. Son of the late Solomon Boyd and Elizabeth Buffington Boyd. Grandson of the late George and Wihelmina Buffington, Thomas, Sr. and Lucille Boyd, Eddie and Rosetta Tate. Brother of Colette Pate, Cynthia James, Stacy Lee-Bray, Ericka Williams, Shana Boyd- Davis, and Lyndall Wheeler, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
