THEODORE BOOKER,SR

Theodore Booker, Sr., age 81, entered peacefully into eternal rest at Rapides Regional Medical Center Tuesday, November 30, 2021. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Alexandria, LA.  Theodore was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School, and a retired Truck Driver for Gabriel Van Lines. He was a member of Smyrna Seventh Day Adventist Church. Beloved husband Berndalyn Stewart Booker. Loving father of Darlene Monroe, Theodore Booker, Jr., Juanita Vaughn, Toneka Booker, Madeline Washington, and Charlene Bush. Stepfather of Joseph Stewart, Jr. and Odell Stewart. Son of the late John Booker, Sr. And Catherine Booker. Brother of Rev. Dr. Alfred (Louise) Booker, Sr., Edward (Shirley) Booker, Miriam Chapman, and the late John Booker, Jr. and Lawrence Booker. Theodore is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Smyrna Seventh Day Adventist Church, Westbank Seventh Day Adventist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Westbank Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2401 General Meyer Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
