THADDEUS THOMAS VALENTINE, JR.

Thaddeus “Clinger” Valentine, Jr. entered peacefully into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the age of 52. He was a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Clinger, as he was affectionately known, was a 1986 graduate of West Jefferson High School. He was a member of the ARC, and an assistant coach at K.A.W. K. Thaddeus will be remembered for his love of music, watching football games and drag racing. Loving son of Shirley Valentine and the late Thaddeus Valentine, Sr.  Devoted brother of Adrian Valentine (Irvin) and the late Ta’Mara Valentine Davis. Grandson of the late Earl, Sr. and Lillian Tillman, Irma (Oscar, Sr.) Moore, and Oscar (Gladys) Valentine, Sr. Uncle of Thyreal Valentine, Diamond Davis, Zora Brengettsy, Shayne Valentine, and the late Ronja’Li Valentine. Great uncle of Armaan and Kameron Rawles and Xanden Valentine. Best friend of Irvin Smith; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The family would like to acknowledge pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Church. Private family Graveside Service will be held at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 3450 Hwy 90 West Avondale, LA on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11:00a.m. Apostle Terry Gullage, officiating.
