TERYL GRAY

Teryl Gray, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the age of 69. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a life long resident of Marrero, LA. Teryl graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969. She attended Southern University in Baton Rouge and Delgado Community College. She was employed by Schwegman Grocery Store and worked in the butcher department, West Jefferson Medical Center, Jefferson Parish School Board (John Ehret), and  Walmart. Loving and devoted mother of Matthew Nicholas Gray. Grandmother of Mari Rose Gray. Daughter of the late George Gray Sr. and Rose Mary Gray. Sister of George (Jeanette) Gray Jr., Wanda G. Buckner, Brian (Audrey) Gray Sr., Sterling Gray, Deidre Gray, and Prudence Williams.  Sister in Law to George Buckner Sr. and Christell Gray, also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends of the family. The family would life to acknowledge pastor, officers, and members of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church.
