TERRELL CORTEZ MASSEY

Terrell Cortez Massey, Sr. departed this life on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the age of 35. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Terrell was educated in the Orleans Parish Public School System. He was the owner and operator of GTA Management. Terrell was a member of Help Other People Endure (HOPE), Community Avengers LLC, and Nola Fast Lane. Devoted father of Terrell Cortez Massey, Jr., Ty’Rion Massey, and the late Ty’Rial Massey. Beloved son of Viola Massey and Dwayne (Latayana) Brown. Grandson of the late Albert and Dianne Taplet, Willie Guy, and Viola Massey. Brother of Dwayne, Cortez, Kerry Massey, Dyante Brown, Racquel Vincent, and Dariah Teller. Loving godson of Tannika Lewis. Devoted friend of Michon Picot; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street Gretna, LA on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Lawrence St. Cyr of Providence Baptist Church, officiating.
