ARTHUR LEWIS

Arthur Lewis departed this life on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank at the age of 77. He was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Arthur was a retired truck driver. Devoted father of Terrance Brown, Kim Lewis- Babino, Tonya Stewart, Arthur Hicks, Lance Johnson, and Carl Lewis. Son of the late Benjamin Lewis and Ernestine Tross Lewis. Brother of Ernestine Lewis Hogan and the late Myrtle Washington, Clay, Phillip, Richard, Lloyd, Percy and Ervin Lewis, also survived by 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
