TASSE PATRICIA SPARKS

Tasse Sparks entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the age of 54. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Tasse was a 1988 graduate of West Jefferson High School, and an employee for over 16 years with Home Depot. She was admired for her strength and perseverance, to conquer life’s challenges with a smile and grace no matter what. Tasse enjoyed dancing, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family. Beloved wife and lifelong friend of Reginald Sparks, Sr. Devoted mother of Reginald Sparks, Jr., Trey Sparks, and Reshonda Sparks. Loving grandmother of Reginald Sparks III, Ramere Foster, and Reyone Sparks. Daughter of the late Rubin and Helen Butler. Granddaughter of the late Mary Moody Burner and Vivian Butler.  Sister of Larry, Tracey, Andrew (Cynthia), Curtis, and   Nadine (William) Butler, Dale (Howard, Jr.) Sparks, Gwendolyn (Clayton) Dixon, and the late Gerald Butler, Quinn Butler, and Joann Dorsey. Also cherishing her memories are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Full Life Faith Ministries and all neighboring churches; employees of Home Depot are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Full Life Faith Ministries, 6951 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
