Tanika Monique Murdock entered into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the age of 34. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Tanika was employed as a Salon Receptionist, and she was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church. Beloved mother of Ty’Rik Nobles Murdock. Devoted daughter of Darryl (Yelitza) Gray and Elaine (Kerwin) Joseph. Granddaughter of Mytherine (Robert) Smith, William (Paula) Murdock, Lillian Gray, and the late Willie Fairman. Sister of Joshua (Chelce) Murdock, Darryl (Taylor) Carter, Darryl Gray, Jr., Darren Gray, Danyell Gilmore, Chyawanda Pierre, Trenisha Murdock, Darrielle and Darrinisha Gray, and the late Kerwin Duncan. Niece of the late Wade Murdock, and Maragaret White. Godmother of the late Keian Ester, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Elder Lynetta Rhodes officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
