TANGE DEVARONA GRIFFIN

Tange Devarona Griffin entered into eternal life on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of St. Gabriel, LA. Tange was a graduate of John Ehret High School Class of 1986. She later attended Sidney Collier Nursing School of New Orleans where she studied and became an LPN. Tange was employed by Chateau De Notre Dame where she worked to serve and aid the people of our community. Devoted mother of Brennan (Keianna) Griffin, Chaz Mickey, and Jalen Washington. Grandmother of Breanna Mansion and Sean Torregano. Beloved daughter of Shirley Griffin and Alfred (Clementine) Griffin. Granddaughter of the late Daniel and Leotha Webster, Rev. Steve J. and Theresa Kitt Griffin. Sister of Wanda (Wayne) Johnson, Donovan Blake (Randolph), April, Destiney and Kelly Griffin, and the late Dondero Griffin and William Poole III. Aunt of Anjoli Richardson (Reginald), Paige and Peyton Blake, Mai Henderson, Basil (LaToya), Rashad (Courtney), and Deron Johnson, and Kamden Honore’. Great aunt of Tatiyana, Ayana, Unique, Jairia Johnson and Nijeria Mullen, Jayden, Elijah, Caleb, Sentwalia, and Mahdi Johnson. Niece of the late Ronnie Ellis, Rev. Robert Griffin Sr., and Sara L. Thomas. Extended sibling of Tammie Young and Darlene Poole.  Special cousin of Robert Griffin.  Extended Cousin of Lisa Williams, Dawn George, and Anita Brooks. Special friend of Stacey Coleman, Lisa Jackson, Shenita Williams, and Trenise Harris, also survived by a host of cousins, relatives, co-workers, and friends.
