Tamika Michelle London entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the age of 44. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Harvey, LA. Meka, as she is known to family and friends, attended West Jefferson High School and was employed with the Jefferson Parish Public Schools as a bus driver. Devoted mother of Donald, Markella, Troy (Nelly) and Harvanna London, and Jordan Henry. Loving grandmother of Serenity, Melaniee, Is’realla, and Is’siah. Beloved daughter of Charles Jenkins and Rena London. Granddaughter of the late Geraldine Mack London, Howard Lee London, Chasey and Jessie Jenkins. Great granddaughter of Lurline Gills London and Neal London. Sister of Jessie (Tanisha) London, Ahmand Jenkins, Lurine (Calvin) Wilson, Candice Palmer, Marissa Jenkins, and the late Nealean London. Aunt of Tyra, Natasha, and Aalyah London. Cousin of the late Laval London. Friend of Jesse Henry; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
