TA'MARA VALENTINE- DAVIS

Ta’Mara “TaTam” Valentine Davis, transition from her earthly home to her heavenly home, on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 47. She was a native New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA.  Ta’Mara was a graduate of West Jefferson High School class of 1992. She was employed with the Jefferson Parish Clerk of Courts for 13 years and Cricket for 4 years, where she developed lasting friendships. Beloved wife of the late Mark Anthony Davis.  Loving fiancée of Edwin Brengettsy. Devoted mother of Diamond Davis, Shayne Valentine, and Zora Brengettsy.  Stepmother of Brandon Washington, Jamal Washington, and Alisha Starks. Daughter of Shirley Valentine and the late Thaddeus Valentine, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Earl, Sr. and Lillian Tillman, Oscar (Gladys) Valentine, Sr., and Irma (Oscar, Sr.) Moore. Sister of Adrian Valentine (Irvin) and the late Thaddeus Valentine, Jr. Aunt and mother figure to Thyreal Valentine and the late Ronja’Li Valentine. Great aunt of Armaan and Kameron Rawles and Xanden Valentine. Sister-in-law of Debra (Carldell) Coleman, Denise (Ramzy) Noel, and Jeanne Richardson. Best friend of Thea Rainey, Franchelle Simpson, Tarheshia Tillman-Marts, and Cheryl Miles. Ta’Mara is also survived by her dear friend Judge June Darensburg, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The family would like to acknowledge pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Church, employees of Jefferson Parish Clerk of Courts and Cricket Wireless. Private family Graveside Service will be held at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 3450 Hwy 90 West Avondale, LA on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11:00a.m. Apostle Terry Gullage, officiating.
