STELLA MAE CAMPBELL

Stella Mae Campbell entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the age of 77. She was a native of LaPlace, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Stella was educated in the Orleans Parish Public School System. Loving mother of Fredrick (Kia) Campbell, and Iris Campbell. Beloved grandmother of Jada Young, DeKia Young, Lila Poole, Priya Campbell, and Kanard Campbell. Great grandmother of Kason Craft, Kennedi Craft, and Ava Isaac. Daughter of the late Dennis Paul Campbell and Justina Alexander Campbell. Foster daughter of the late Harold Crowder and Ellen Crowder. Sister of Joseph Gray, Jr., Gloria Gray, Bernette Campbell (Edward) Locket, and the late Glendora Joseph, Jessie Mae Joseph, Iris Campbell-Hall, Allen Campbell, Sr., and Calvin Campbell. Stella is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, LA on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Ernest Lewis officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum-Avondale, LA.
