STANLEY EMILE DUPLESSIS

Stanley Emile Duplessis entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the age of 70. He was a native of Braithwaite, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Stanley was a graduate of Phoenix High School Class of 1970, and he was a retired truck driver with Kloeckner Metals (Namasco). Beloved husband of Lamona Richardson Duplessis. Loving father of Stephanie Porter, Desmond Baker, and Tetrenell Duplessis.  Stepfather of Doria Richardson, Jovan Sylvester, and Xalynne Moore. Son of the late Joseph Duplessis, Sr. and Irma E. Duplessis. Brother of Mary Louise Major, JoAnn Pittman, Richard Duplessis, and the late Dorothy Mae Williams, Evelyn Patricia Wagner, Joseph Duplessis, Jr., Oscar Duplessis, Sr., and Antoine Charles Duplessis, Sr. Devoted uncle of Irma Miller whom he loved as a sister, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
