SIMON PERRY, IV

Simon “Lil/ Big Man” Perry, IV received his crown of gold and was called home to glory on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the age of 22.  He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Simon was a  graduate of McCellan Magnet High School in Little Rock, AR. He had a personality that could brighten up any room. Devoted and loving son of Claudette Colbert and the late Simon Perry, III. Stepson of Terry Colbert, Sr. Grandson of Lucinda Jackson, Barbara Hunter, Barbara Colbert, and the late Clifford Braud, Jr., and Simon Perry, Jr. Brother of Ethan (Leshine) Braud, Sr., Terry Colbert, Jr., Bridgette (Damione) Thrower, and D’Jeaneaux Perry. Uncle of Ethan Braud, Jr., Jordan Braud, Kristen Braud, and Kodi Braud. Nephew of the late Virginia Braud and Floretta Braud, also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Good Shepherd Missionary  Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Good Shepherd Missionary Baptist Church 619 Second St. New Orleans, LA on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
