SHIRLEY ROBINSON WILLIAMS

Shirley Ann Robinson-Williams entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the age of 73. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Shirley was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen Senior High School. She was employed for many years with the City of New Orleans Criminal District Court before retiring as a Supervisor of Closed Records. Beloved wife of Hugh Darnell Williams. Devoted mother of Kimberly (Tyrone) Johnson and Lyonel W. Jordan, Jr. Daughter of the late James Robinson, Sr. and Ethel Thomas Robinson. Loving sister of James Robinson, Jr. of Stockton, CA and the late Robert Robinson, Lorraine Connelly, Lucille Henry, and Leah Robinson. Shirley is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; members of The Distinguished Ladies Social and Pleasure Club are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Father Sidney Speaks, celebrant. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m.; Recitation of the Rosary 8:45a.m.; Followed by a Tribute.
