Shirley Steptore Howard entered into her eternal home at JoEllen Smith Convalescent Home on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the age of 83. She was a native of Convent, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Loving mother of Lloyd Howard, Linda Howard (David) White, Sheila Howard LaFrance, and Christopher (Alefia) Howard, Sr. Stepmother of Terrence (Trina) Howard. Daughter of the late Manual and Beatrice Lewis Steptore. Sister of Elizabeth Steptore Jordan; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family and employees of New Orleans Recreation Department, Aetna Insurance, Retirement Systems of Alabama, Alabama Wildlife and Fisheries, Life South Blood Bank, Quest Diagnostics, Goose Creek CISD of Baytown, TX, and Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
