Shireen Marie Anthony entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at the age of 67. She was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Jefferson Parish. Shireen was a 1972 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a retired custodial worker with Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Devoted mother of Kippy Daynell Anthony, and Mytosha M. Dickerson. Loving companion of Allen O. Molden. Daughter of the late Abraham B. “Tony” Anthony, Jr., and Althea Anthony. Granddaughter of the late Earl Middleton, Sr., Nelar Middleton, Abraham Anthony, Sr.,and Vivian Poole Sister of Abraham B. Anthony, III, Yvette Davis, Ayanna Ptah, Kymberlie Anthony-McCray and the late Antionette A. Greene. Shireen is also survived by 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family and employees of Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
