SHEREE VENICE WELLS

Sheree Venice Wells departed this life Monday, May 24, 2021 at the age of 44. She was a native of Winnsboro, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Sheree was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and Delgado Community College, where she studied Mortuary Science and received her certification as a CNA. She was a member of Moses Baptist Church, where she served on the Hospitality Committee and assisted with youth activities. Loving mother of Kentrell “Tugga” Wells and the late Kentreon “Dees” Wells. Beloved daughter of Noah S. Wells and Patricia Wells. Granddaughter of the late William and Virgia Johnson, Louis and Laura Wilson. Sister of Noah (Renee) Wells, Jr., Willie (Monica) Wells, Sr., Kevin (Erica) Wells, and the late Ronnie Wells. Aunt of Jessica, Harold, Ashlee, Therell, Kendall, Kia, Chasity, Jaciana, Gurkera, Erica, Willie, Jr., Jason, and Jeremiah. Niece of William Johnson, Jr., Bennie Johnson, Pilton “Bow” Wells, Jr., Linda Faye Porter, Val, Lavan, Sue, Vanessa K., and Loretta Johnson, Lucy Scott, Angela Johnson, Michael Wilson, and the late Jimmie L. Johnson, Henry L., Ronnie, Walter, Jimmie, TL, Maggie, and Willie Mae Wilson.  Shree is also survived by three special cousins, whom she loved as sisters, Kilwana Wilson Williams, Shantell Johnson, and Asha Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Moses Baptist Church, Second Salvation Baptist Church, all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Salvation Baptist Church, 212 Marrero St. Bridge City, LA on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Charles Crawford, host pastor; Pastor Carline Moses, Jr., officiating  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
