Shawn Trenise “Baby G” “Big S” Geary peacefully answered God’s call at her residence on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the age of 55. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Shawn was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School Class of 1984. She continued her education at Moler Beauty College, becoming a licensed Cosmetologist. Devoted mother of Alicia Rachel Geary, Shaliq Geary and the late Keoka Geary. Loving grandmother of Nehemiah Hollerman. Beloved daughter of Alicia Pitts Geary and the late Joseph H. Geary, Sr. Sister of Joseph H.  Geary, Jr., Tammy (Steve) Washington, of San Antonio, TX, Jahmal (Tania) Geary of Baton Rouge, LA, Jeremy (Daria) Geary, and the late Marcel Geary. Shawn is also survived by her devoted caregiver Jeneta Baker, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
