SHARON WALKER

Sharon Walker, age 69, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Sharon was a 1970 graduate of L. W. Higgins High School. She was owner and director of The Magic School Bus Day Care Center. Devoted mother of Tellis (Crystal) Johnson. Loving grandmother of Tellis Pickney, Teionne Johnson and Candace Johnson. Fiancé Paul Mundy. Beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Mildred Walker. Sister of Ray Walker, Aaron Walker, Kenneth Walker, Helen Brazile, and the late Nick Walker, Graying Walker, Lawrence Walker, and Mercedes Jeffery. Sister-in-law of the late Clarence Brazile. Sharon is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr., officiating  Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m.-9:50a.m. ONLY at the church.
