SHARON ELAINE JOLLA

Sharon Elaine Jolla entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the age of 60.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Sharon was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System. Pee-Wee, as she was affectionately known by family and friends was a former employee at Avondale Shipyard as an electrician helper. Loving mother of Damien (Keiane) Lee and Delbert (Danyelle) Jolla. Grandmother of Delbert Jr., Ne’Vaeh, Ny’eisha, Janaii, and Kelci Jolla, Dernelle Brown, Makaya Taylor, Damiyahn, Kierra, Damien Jr., and Demine Lee, and Bethany Brown. Great grandmother of De’Mir Jolla. Daughter of the late Henry Jolla and Rosabell Brown Jolla. Granddaughter of the Lula and Kelly Tyson. Sister of Larry (Audrey) Jolla, Gwendolyn and Barbra Jolla, and Gail (Andrew) Pointer, and the late Lawrence Sr., Harvey, and Solomon Brown. Aunt of the late Lawrence Brown, Jr. and Akieem Jolla. Niece of Mable Rodgers and Florence Jolla, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Life Center Cathedral and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Life Center Cathedral, 2100 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Bishop J. D. Wiley Taylor, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
