Shantrell Mayfield entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the age of 45. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Shantrell was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School. She employed as a Healthcare Facilitator with JenCare, and a former employee of Advance Auto. Devoted mother of D’Aaron Mayfield. Loving grandmother of D’Aarie Mayfield-Pilot. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Carolyn Green. Granddaughter of the late Mildred and Eddie Green. Sister of Michael Mayfield, Yolanda Mayfield Massey, Tyrone Canselo, Michelle Ruffin, and the late Shannon and Corey Mayfield. Niece of the late Irvin Bocage, Sr. Aunt of the late Ken Mayfield. Shantrell is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring church; employees of JenCare are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Avenue New Orleans, LA on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, host pastor; Rev. Alvin Mosley, Sr., officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
