SHADELL MARKELL ROBERT MARKEE

Shadell Markell Robert Markee, our beloved son, departed this life on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the age of 28. He was a native of Beaufort, SC and a resident of Marrero, LA. Shadell was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC, and Delgado Community College, where he received a certificate in Hospitality Management. Shadell was employed as a restaurant waiter. Beloved son of Robert (Betty) Markee and Delia Barnett. Grandson of Darrel Clarks, George Wilson, Sherrie Wilson Tigler Sims, and Darlinda Markee. Loving brother of Darvin Wilson and Robert Markee, Jr.; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church,1509 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Orin Grant, Sr., officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m.until service time at the church. Internment: Will Be Private.
