SANDY JACKSON, SR

Sandy Jackson, Sr. entered eternal rest on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the age of 69. He was a native of New Orleans, LA., and a resident of Harvey, LA. Sandy was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he was a self-employed plumber. Devoted husband of the late Savanah Casion Jackson. Loving father of Sandy Jackson, Jr.  Son of the late Jerry Jackson, Sr. and Orealia King Jackson. Grandson of the late Leonard Stives and Evalina Stives. Brother of Jerry Jackson, III, Jacquelyn Poche’, Velma Jackson, and the late Ronald Jackson, also survived by 1 grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until service time at the parlor.
