SAMUEL WALLACE

August 7, 1968 — September 29, 2019

Samuel Wallace departed this life at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital on Sunday September 29, 2019 at the age of 51.  He was a native of New Orleans, LA and  a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Chuck as he was affectionately known by family and friends was employed as a landscaper. Devoted husband of Faye Brown Wallace. Beloved father  of Josephine (Rodrick) Butler, Xaviera (Todd) Winters, Alicia Wallace, Samdreika Wallace, and Destiny Wallace. Son of the late Jake Black and Alydia Wallace. Grandson  of the late Roy and Phillis Wallace. Brother of Brian (Carman) Black, Adrian Black, Deserie Black, and Shantalle Black, also survived by 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA LA on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
