SAMUEL MARTIN HARRISON

Samuel Martin Harrison departed this life at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the age of 63.  He was a native of New Orleans LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Samuel was a graduate of L.B. Landry High School Class of 1978, and he served his country in the United States Army. Samuel was a retired engineer with Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, and City of New Orleans.Beloved husband of Deborah Gomez Harrison. Son of Joyce Bush Harrison and the late Willie James Marcel Harrison. Brother of Jerome Bush, Ronald Bush, Edward Harrison, Marcus Harrison, Jason Harrison, Henry (Zonya) Harrison, Joann Bush, Joycelyn Harrison Turner, Marichell Harrison Jordan, and the late Marcella Harrison Cooper, James (Betty) Harrison, and Tillman Harrison. Godson of Jerome Bush and Joy Howel, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of First Agape Baptist Church, priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church are invited to attend the Wake Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 7:00p.m. Pastor Eddie Payne, officiating.
